Position: Staff Accountant

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger
• Participate in month-end close process
• Prepare journal entries and handle general accounting tasks
• Conduct research and analytical problem solving
• Respond to branch inquiries professionally
• Prepare summary financial information for management
• Assist with external audits and prepare schedules
• Engage in special projects as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with multiple locations
• Familiarity with the construction industry
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365
