Position: Power BI SME

Compensation: $ 50 – 60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports
• Develop efficient data pipelines using Power Query and DAX
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability
• Implement governance standards and best practices
• Partner with stakeholders to translate analytical needs into BI solutions
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and opportunities
• Serve as the go-to expert on Power BI capabilities
• Mentor users on Power BI usage and visualization best practices
• Conduct code reviews and performance tuning of BI assets

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience with enterprise BI environments
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Azure data services
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric
• Background in data engineering or analytics
• Certifications like Power BI Data Analyst Associate
