Position: Desktop Support Specialist

Compensation: $30 – 35 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Gillette, Wyoming

Inceed has partnered with a great energy company to help find a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join their team!

Join a dynamic environment where you will administer Windows systems, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and cell phones. This help desk support role involves high levels of customer interaction, making it perfect for those who thrive in a collaborative setting. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting PC, network, and telecom issues, providing essential support within this location. This position offers a unique opportunity to stay ahead with the latest computing technology and contribute ideas for competitive advantage. Expect up to 10% travel, with some night and weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Administer and maintain Windows computer systems
• Troubleshoot PC, network, and telecom issues
• Provide general system support across multiple locations
• Stay updated with new computing technology
• Recommend technology advancements for competitive advantage
• Deliver high levels of customer service
• Ensure effective communication across all organizational levels

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience with troubleshooting Windows operating systems
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for corporate and non-corporate users
• Effective communication with all organizational levels

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with cell phone support
