Position: Data Governance Engineer

Compensation: $55 – $60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Governance Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and maintain data governance architecture
• Translate governance policies into technical configurations
• Develop data ownership and stewardship models
• Implement role-based access control and data masking frameworks
• Conduct periodic data access audits
• Oversee metadata management and lineage tracking
• Promote adoption of certified datasets
• Build automation scripts for governance configurations
• Integrate governance platforms for unified data views
• Serve as a technical advisor for data governance

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Proficient in RBAC and compliance controls
• Strong understanding of metadata management
• Experience with automation scripting
• Working knowledge of data quality frameworks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or governance
• Experience in regulated industries
