Position: Data Engineer

Compensation: $135,000 – $155,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer to join their team!

Join a leading industrial supplier dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to the energy and industrial sectors. As a Data Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of building and optimizing cloud-based data solutions. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in ETL development, data modeling, and cloud technologies will drive business analytics and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Build and manage cloud ETL processes for data extraction and transformation
• Develop fact and dimension tables for business intelligence needs
• Create visualizations and reports to support decision-making
• Integrate data across systems using REST and SOAP APIs
• Design scalable data ingestion pipelines
• Build and maintain internal data APIs
• Implement middleware workflows using platforms like Azure Logic Apps
• Develop event-driven integrations using messaging systems
• Ensure secure API access and governance practices

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics
• Expert in SQL
• Hands-on experience with system integrations using Boomi
• Experienced in cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Fabric and Azure
• Proficient in Python programming
• Skilled in Power BI for data visualization

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS
• Familiarity with Git and source control concepts
• Passion for training data science and machine learning models
• Experience with Databricks, Airflow, and AI
• Data integrations with ERPs or Salesforce
