Position: Sr. System Administrator / Database Administrator

Compensation: $65 – $75 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Denver, Colorado

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Install and configure Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Monitor and optimize database performance
• Develop SQL scripts and automation tools
• Administer enterprise scheduling and workload automation tools
• Manage endpoint and patch deployment across various systems
• Support Azure SQL Managed Instances
• Execute IT SOX control testing and documentation

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Experience with automation tools like Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with IT SOX audits

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instances
• Knowledge of Automox for endpoint patching
• Experience in a cloud-based environment
