Position: AV Field Technician

Compensation: $25-30/hr, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AV Field Technician to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as an AV Field Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting low-voltage construction projects across various job sites. This hands-on position is perfect for those who thrive in field-driven roles and are committed to delivering high-quality installations that meet project plans and client expectations. The role offers the chance to collaborate with Project Managers and field teams, ensuring projects move forward with precision and accountability. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain safe job sites and follow safety protocols
• Support Level 1 technicians with guidance and oversight
• Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
• Mount, configure, and troubleshoot devices
• Interpret construction drawings for accurate installations
• Perform system testing and diagnostics
• Document completed work with photos and updates
• Coordinate with subcontractors for workflow support
• Communicate site conditions and progress to Project Manager

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years experience with low-voltage or related technologies
• Strong understanding of cable installation standards
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders
• Clear verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Certifications like OSHA 10 or BICSI Technician
• Manufacturer credentials
• Experience in network integration tasks
