Position: Assistant Controller

Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead monthly financial close processes
• Prepare financial statements for operating locations
• Reconcile general ledger accounts accurately
• Analyze and report financial variances
• Present a rolling three-month financial forecast
• Conduct rate analysis and provide insights
• Communicate financial information with operational teams
• Manage accounting data flow between facilities
• Support SOX compliance and internal reviews
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-2 years of accounting experience 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Public accounting experience
• CPA or other professional certifications
