Position: Senior Accounting and Compliance Associate

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Accounting and Compliance Associate to join their team!

Join a dynamic team where you’ll blend accounting tasks with compliance efforts, supporting audit activities and business process controls. This role is perfect for someone looking to make an impact in a corporate accounting environment, with opportunities to contribute to both accounting and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support JSOX audit activities and compliance requirements
• Work toward deadlines provided by Geneva corporate
• Gather and prepare audit-ready information
• Revamp processes with business process owners
• Document management walkthroughs for J-SOX controls
• Maintain documentation within AuditBoard software
• Assist with internal and external audit reviews
• Contribute to accounting tasks with minimal training

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a corporate accounting environment
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley or federal grant compliance
• Ability to gather and organize audit-ready documentation
• Experience performing management walkthroughs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with AuditBoard software
• Public accounting experience
• Internal audit experience
