Position: Database Administrator

Compensation: $50 – $63/hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Database Administrator to join their team!

This opportunity involves supporting day-to-day operations while the team focuses on an AWS Cloud Migration. As a senior-level expert, you will design, implement, and optimize enterprise database systems across SQL Server and AWS environments. This role offers the chance to lead modernization initiatives and architect scalable, secure database solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform advanced performance tuning using DMVs and execution plan analysis
• Design indexing and storage strategies for high throughput systems
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery systems
• Lead complex debugging of SQL Server issues
• Define and enforce enterprise database security standards
• Implement auditing and encryption standards
• Collaborate with cybersecurity on vulnerability remediation

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of professional database administration experience
• Expert level SQL server skills
• Enterprise Database Production Support
• Hands-on AWS experience preferred
• Demonstrated success migrating on-prem SQL server workloads to AWS preffered
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AWS DMS and SCT
• Knowledge of hybrid and bridge architectures
