Position: Senior Engineer

Compensation: $ 115,000 – 120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Austin, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic engineering team in Austin, TX, focusing on natural gas utility growth in one of Texas’s fastest-growing markets. This role offers the chance to lead subdivision design efforts, collaborate with developers, and tackle complex growth challenges. The position is open due to expansion and offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead subdivision design efforts for natural gas utility growth
• Collaborate with developers on pipeline and infrastructure projects
• Transform utility construction practices into AutoCAD designs
• Estimate projects and stay ahead of new developments
• Manage residential, industrial, and commercial gas projects
• Provide technical guidance to management and stakeholders
• Research and analyze engineering studies and contracts
• Lead and guide staff members; potential direct reports

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Experience analyzing piping plans for compliance
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and relevant software
• Experience with pipeline operations and safety procedures
• Applicable driver’s license

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Experience with subdivision design and permitting
• Experience with TxDOT and municipal permitting
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
