Position: Snowflake Data Architect

Compensation: $85 – $90 /hour

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Snowflake Data Architect to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to design and implement a cloud data platform that powers executive financial, operational, commercial, and safety dashboards. The role is open to support the Project RISE initiative, focusing on financial performance, production, safety, and commercial data. This position offers the chance to work closely with diverse business stakeholders across North America and Europe, contributing to significant data architecture projects in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and own Snowflake data architecture for executive dashboards
• Develop scalable data models for financial, operational, and commercial domains
• Define standardized metrics for consistent reporting across various departments
• Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines using modern ELT/ETL tools
• Integrate data from SAP systems and other internal/external sources
• Implement data quality rules and validation processes
• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and define KPIs
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate in a hybrid environment with European teams

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Finance
• 7+ years in data engineering, BI, or analytics; 3+ years in cloud data warehousing
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT tools
• Experience designing dimensional models for financial reporting
• Solid understanding of financials and operational drivers
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and collaborate with European teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with SAP environments or similar ERP systems
• Experience supporting executive-level dashboards
• Familiarity with Power BI and enterprise data models
• Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for data
• Background in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrials
