Compensation: $96/hr 

Location: Boulder, CO

Position: Interim Controller

Inceed has partnered with a great company to find a skilled Interim Controller to join their team.

This individual will step in quickly to ensure continuity across accounting operations, working closely with leadership to stabilize and support the finance function during a period of transition. We’re looking for a hands-on, steady leader who can ensure financial accuracy, keep operations running smoothly, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure smooth transition and continuity
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage and enhance cost accounting processes 
• Identify issues, troubleshoot, and implement solutions cross-functionally
• Lead and develop the accounting team; drive accountability and performance
• Balance process improvements with maintaining ongoing operations
• Partner closely with the CFO; provide clear financial updates and insights
• Support data-heavy workflows 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong cost accounting experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
• Proven ability to manage close processes and ensure financial accuracy
• Experience with large ERP systems
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Ability to step into ambiguity and quickly add value
• Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA preferred
• Strong systems agility; quick learner of new tools
