Position: Business Analyst

Compensation: $ 40 – 50 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Analyst to join their team!

The Business Analyst will be tasked with analyzing computational design systems, bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders, and leading Agile processes for development teams. This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of technology and business integration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Develop understanding of technical systems and business processes
• Elicit user and technical requirements for new initiatives
• Document requirements with clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Determine scope and identify development iterations
• Prioritize and sequence backlog with roadmap dependencies
• Facilitate agile team ceremonies like standups and retrospectives
• Monitor development team’s process efficiency and velocity
• Communicate project status with stakeholders
• Coordinate technical implementation, testing, and training efforts

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of technical business analysis experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of agile development methodology and practices
• Understanding of technical terminology

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Strong facilitation skills for meetings and workshops
• Project management experience preferred
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence suite
