Position: Senior Network Engineer – Palo Alto
Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas

The team is looking for someone who can take ownership of projects, bring strong technical expertise, and help drive better execution across the infrastructure organization.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
- Configure and maintain Cisco routers and switches
- Work with routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP
- Manage Cisco SD-WAN environments
- Support Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
- Troubleshoot VPN and network security issues
- Assist with network design, optimization, and documentation
- Support field communications and data center environments
- Contribute to ongoing infrastructure projects and rollouts
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong networking fundamentals across LAN and WAN environments
- Hands-on Cisco router, switch, and routing protocol experience
- SD-WAN implementation or configuration experience
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues end to end
- Experience working in an enterprise infrastructure environment
- Must be comfortable working onsite five days per week
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Data center networking experience
- Starlink deployment experience
- Cisco Wireless or ISE experience
- Azure networking knowledge
- SCADA or field communications exposure
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP

- Direct hire, full-time opportunity
- 100% onsite schedule, five days per week
- Travel may be required, primarily west of San Antonio

- Team collaborates closely with field communications
- On-call rotation is required
