Position: Senior Network Engineer – Palo Alto

Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

The team is looking for someone who can take ownership of projects, bring strong technical expertise, and help drive better execution across the infrastructure organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers and switches
• Work with routing protocols including BGP and EIGRP
• Manage Cisco SD-WAN environments
• Support Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
• Troubleshoot VPN and network security issues
• Assist with network design, optimization, and documentation
• Support field communications and data center environments
• Contribute to ongoing infrastructure projects and rollouts

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of network engineering experience
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong networking fundamentals across LAN and WAN environments
• Hands-on Cisco router, switch, and routing protocol experience
• SD-WAN implementation or configuration experience
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues end to end
• Experience working in an enterprise infrastructure environment
• Must be comfortable working onsite five days per week

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Oil and gas industry experience
• Data center networking experience
• Starlink deployment experience
• Cisco Wireless or ISE experience
• Azure networking knowledge
• SCADA or field communications exposure
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP

• Direct hire, full-time opportunity
• 100% onsite schedule, five days per week
• Travel may be required, primarily west of San Antonio

• Team collaborates closely with field communications
• On-call rotation is required
