Position: FPGA Engineer

Compensation: $115,000 – $120,000 

Location: Overland Park, KS

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled FPGA Engineer to join their team!

Join a leading firm in the avionics sector, focusing on cutting-edge communication and surveillance technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on hardware integration with software, specifically in the aviation industry. Dive into a dynamic environment where innovation meets practicality, and contribute to the development of systems used in airports worldwide.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and develop FPGA architectures and digital logic solutions
• Implement digital signal processing algorithms on FPGA platforms
• Troubleshoot and optimize FPGA designs using lab equipment
• Participate in design reviews to ensure quality standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency in FPGA Development
• Experience with VHDL programming language
• Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado or similar toolchains
• Simulation & Verification skills using ModelSim or similar
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in relevant field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Safety critical industry
• Knowledge of avionics communication systems
