Position: AV Design Engineer
Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design commercial AV systems for various environments
- Develop comprehensive design packages including diagrams and plans
- Build accurate Bill of Materials and Scopes of Work
- Collaborate with sales to shape cost-aligned solutions
- Ensure designs are executable and align with project budgets
- Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews
- Conduct site visits for verification and problem-solving
- Support commissioning and final system verification
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 4–8 years of AV design or engineering experience
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow and system architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Ability to produce clear, buildable documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with DSP platforms like Q-SYS, Biamp
- Familiarity with control systems and UC platforms
- Proficiency with D-Tools, Visio, or similar tools
- CTS-D certification preferred
