Position: AV Design Engineer

Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design commercial AV systems for various environments
• Develop comprehensive design packages including diagrams and plans
• Build accurate Bill of Materials and Scopes of Work
• Collaborate with sales to shape cost-aligned solutions
• Ensure designs are executable and align with project budgets
• Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews
• Conduct site visits for verification and problem-solving
• Support commissioning and final system verification

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 4–8 years of AV design or engineering experience
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow and system architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Ability to produce clear, buildable documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with DSP platforms like Q-SYS, Biamp
• Familiarity with control systems and UC platforms
• Proficiency with D-Tools, Visio, or similar tools
• CTS-D certification preferred
