Position: Project Closeout Specialist

Compensation: $25 – $35/hour

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Project Closeout Specialist to join their team!

Join a dynamic team focused on the financial closeout of capital projects and asset creation. This opportunity allows you to be a significant contributor from day one, driving process improvements and ensuring effective project closeouts. The role is open due to expansion within the company, offering a chance to grow your skills in a stable and successful environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Evaluate project spend against assets created
• Record fixed assets in JD Edwards system
• Audit invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Drive process improvements and automation
• Ensure compliance with capitalization policy

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-3 years related experience
• Project cost controls or fixed assets accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards fixed asset systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Strong processing skills for repetitive tasks
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
