Position: Desktop Engineer

Compensation: $50 – $60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Engineer to join their team!

This role is all about providing top-notch technical support, driving innovation, and enhancing the end-user computing environment. With the previous expert moving to the security team, there's a chance to step in and make a significant impact. You'll be working on building out advanced computing environments, deploying software, and supporting enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide high-level technical support for EUC-related issues
• Manage desktop/laptop environments across Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms
• Administer endpoint management tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and manage endpoint security solutions
• Lead EUC-related projects and technology rollouts
• Document technical solutions and processes for knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years in EUC, IT Support, or Desktop Engineering roles
• Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MDM solutions
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
• Experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST
• Knowledge of Next Think AI tool for proactive issue identification
