Position: Sr. Tax Associate

Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr. Tax Associate to join their team!

Join a small, established CPA/law firm located in the heart of Midtown OKC. This role offers the opportunity to support both individual and business tax preparation, bookkeeping functions, and assist with business valuation and litigation support projects. We are seeking a proactive and analytical professional who can communicate financial concepts clearly to clients. This position is open due to a backfill need and requires someone who is a go-getter and quick learner. Enjoy working in a vibrant area with easy access to coffee and lunch spots.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns
• Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare exhibits and reports for litigation support
• Conduct account analysis to identify deductions and credits
• Assist clients with tax obligations and financial planning
• Collaborate with clients to gather documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Stay updated on tax laws and auditing practices
• Assist with bookkeeping and client correspondence
• Communicate with IRS and state taxing authorities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in tax preparation
• Strong understanding of corporate and public accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA certification
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with Lacerte and UltraTax CS

• Interview process involves onsite interviews, 2 rounds
• Work schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
