Position: Electrical Substation Designer

Compensation: $30 – $38 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Substation Designer to join their team!

As an Electrical Substation Designer, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, creating electrical schematics and designs for diverse clients. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design electrical projects including schematics and grid plan layouts
• Develop drawings for production work and perform problem analysis
• Execute changes to designs and incorporate design codes
• Review design drawings for quality assurance
• Organize and maintain project-related information logically
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design issues
• Communicate effectively with project clients and team members
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's in drafting technology or related field with 7+ years experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel
• Advanced ability in 2D and 3D design applications
• Strong knowledge of design systems and calculations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Authorization to work permanently in the country

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with multidisciplinary project teams
• Familiarity with additional design software
