Position: Buyer/Expeditor

Compensation: $35 – $40 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Buyer/Expeditor to join their team!

Join a dynamic procurement team where your skills in sourcing and purchasing will shine. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with 2-5 years of procurement experience, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry, looking to enhance their career. Contribute to cost efficiency and operational success in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
• Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and analyze purchasing needs.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth procurement flow.
• Track supplier performance and assist in KPI reporting.
• Stay informed on market trends and product innovations.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP/procurement software preferred.
• Must have experience in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
