Position: Accountant

Compensation: $22 – $26 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant to join their team!

Join a dynamic team where you will be stepping into an exciting contract role with potential for long-term engagement. This opportunity has arisen due to internal team movements, and the company is looking for a talented Accountant to fill the gap. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment, contributing to key financial operations, and showcasing your expertise. This is an open-ended contract with potential for conversion, offering a chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage and reconcile financial records accurately
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborate with team members for financial audits
• Analyze financial data to inform decision-making
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Proven experience in accounting roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in contract accounting roles
• Familiarity with financial regulations in the utility sector
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and macros
