Position: IT Support Specialist

Compensation: $25 – $30 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Support Specialist to join their team!

Join a growing IT services provider focused on delivering reliable, secure, and responsive technology solutions. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of remote support and onsite client visits. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Answer support calls and offer professional technical assistance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues remotely
• Perform onsite support for clients as needed
• Manage endpoint protection and monitor security services
• Support Microsoft 365 user issues and setup
• Document tickets and track work using Autotask
• Monitor backup systems and data recovery processes
• Provide proactive recommendations to improve client systems
• Participate in rotating on-call weekends

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 1–3+ years of IT support/helpdesk experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, user management)
• Familiarity with Antivirus/EDR tools and backup solutions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in an MSP environment
• Knowledge of networking basics (routers, firewalls, VPNs)
• Exposure to cybersecurity tools and best practices
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
