Position: Financial Analyst

Compensation: $50 – $65 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Analyst to join their team!

Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge analytics and reporting solutions. As a Financial Analyst, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new Finance data products and support key data governance initiatives. This role is pivotal in empowering users to make insightful business decisions and drive client success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Analyze and interpret large datasets for new Finance data products
• Lead role-based access controls for Finance data domain
• Collaborate with Project teams and IT for reporting needs
• Oversee and maintain data catalog within Finance domain
• Provide analytic reports and presentations to leadership
• Mentor Financial Analytics staff
• Serve as a financial data and analytics expert
• Lead projects focusing on innovation and process improvement
• Develop user acceptance testing plans
• Identify opportunities to enhance technical skills

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8 years of professional accounting experience
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation
• Strong understanding of data models and reporting tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in auditing or as a key audit contact
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
