Position: Senior Programmer Analyst
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas

As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by supporting and developing applications that help shape the future of the company and industry. This role is open due to ongoing projects and the need for talented individuals to support the company's growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide technical support to the user community
- Design and develop custom solutions following SDLC/PM methodologies
- Manage small projects independently
- Coordinate problem resolution with application software vendors
- Prepare and deliver concise, accurate status reports
- Mentor junior staff members
- Stay abreast of application offerings and industry trends
- Prepare and execute project plans for assigned projects
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Strong technical knowledge of MS SQL
- 5+ years of upstream oil & gas application knowledge
- Analytic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of project management concepts
- Four-year degree in Information Systems or Business Administration preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of PowerBI/Spotfire experience
- Experience with other programming languages
- Technology-forward thinker

- This is a hybrid position in the Houston Corporate office, with minimal travel potential between field offices.
