Position: Senior Programmer Analyst

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide technical support to the user community
• Design and develop custom solutions following SDLC/PM methodologies
• Manage small projects independently
• Coordinate problem resolution with application software vendors
• Prepare and deliver concise, accurate status reports
• Mentor junior staff members
• Stay abreast of application offerings and industry trends
• Prepare and execute project plans for assigned projects

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience
• Strong technical knowledge of MS SQL
• 5+ years of upstream oil & gas application knowledge
• Analytic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of project management concepts
• Four-year degree in Information Systems or Business Administration preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of PowerBI/Spotfire experience
• Experience with other programming languages
• Technology-forward thinker
