Position: Helpdesk Support Lead

Compensation: $30 – $35/hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Helpdesk Support Lead to join their team!

Join a stable and innovative organization in Oklahoma City as a Helpdesk Support Lead. This long-term contract position offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, manage technical support operations, and work with cutting-edge technology. With a strong pipeline of projects and a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in IT leadership.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Supervise and mentor Desktop Support Technicians daily.
  • Monitor and prioritize support tickets for timely resolution.
  • Act as primary escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and company policies.
  • Evaluate team productivity and provide performance metrics.
  • Coordinate system upgrades and desktop support operations.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings for performance review.
  • Collaborate with IT management for process improvements.
  • Maintain and enhance service desk knowledge base.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in desktop support or service desk.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced technical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workflow creation.
  • Knowledge of desktop hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar platforms.
  • Minimum 5 years of Desktop Support experience.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with ticketing system improvements.
  • Familiarity with training initiatives and customer survey programs.
  • Ability to maintain cross-department relationships.
