Position: Electrical CAD Technician

Compensation: $27 – 28 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Chesterffield, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional who enjoys supporting complex engineering projects from concept through completion. You’ll work alongside designers, engineers, and project managers to create and maintain critical substation drawings, helping keep multiple projects organized, accurate, and on track.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Create and revise technical drawings for electrical substations
• Prepare new drawings from written and verbal instructions
• Maintain accurate engineering documents and version control
• Coordinate drafting across multiple active projects
• Use drafting and data management software daily
• Follow company, client, and ANSI drafting standards
• Support ad hoc project needs as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree in CAD-related program or specialized CAD certification
• Two or more years of drafting experience
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Legally authorized to work permanently without sponsorship

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience with Revit
• Experience supporting engineering document control
• Familiarity with electrical substation design
