Position: Sr AI Engineer

Compensation: $ 75 – 84 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Boulder, Colorado

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr AI Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an AI-focused engineer who enjoys applying modern tools to real business challenges. You’ll help advance backend processes through practical AI solutions, supporting high-impact work across code quality, testing, orchestration, and automation. This role is open due to increased project demand and additional hiring needs, making it a great time to step in and contribute from day one.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and build AI solutions for backend workflows
• Support code reviews, testing, and development automation
• Help stand up MCP servers and AI agents
• Contribute to AI-driven orchestration and DevOps initiatives
• Improve internal processes using practical AI applications
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong experience as a software or AI engineer
• Hands-on experience applying AI to backend processes
• Experience with code review and testing workflows
• Knowledge of AI agents or orchestration tools
• Ability to work with technical teams on implementation
• Experience supporting development and automation efforts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with CursorAI
• Exposure to MCP server setup
• Background in DevOps-related automation
• Experience with backend optimization projects
• Familiarity with AI tooling for engineering teams
