Position: Business Central Developer

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Central Developer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on Business Central professional who enjoys blending technical development with functional problem-solving. In this role, you’ll support a growing operation by building solutions, improving workflows, and helping end users get the most out of their ERP system. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders on meaningful projects that directly support day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and develop AL extensions and customizations.
• Build integrations with third-party systems.
• Write SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting.
• Support end users with Business Central issues.
• Gather requirements and document technical solutions.
• Assist with sales and purchasing workflows.
• Support assembly orders and purchase orders.
• Help with rental module support as needed.
• Manage deployments and releases in Azure DevOps.
• Monitor performance and resolve system issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 4-5+ years of Business Central development experience.
• Strong experience with AL extensions and customizations.
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of sales and purchasing processes.
• Knowledge of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles.
• Ability to write technical specifications independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting the rentals module.
• Business Central certification.
• Experience with assembly order workflows.
• Experience training end users.
• Experience creating user documentation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft roadmap updates.
• Experience supporting multiple branch locations.
