Position: Software Developer

Compensation: $ 75 – 80 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Software Developer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a technically curious developer who enjoys solving complex problems and working closely with business partners. You’ll join a team that is evolving toward smaller, more agile groups, with an increased focus on flexible thinking, strong collaboration, and the ability to leverage modern tools to deliver smart solutions. This role is open due to team changes and future growth needs, creating room for someone who can make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Build and support data and application solutions from end to end
• Develop ETL and data pipelines using Python
• Work with Oracle databases and write Oracle SQL queries
• Collaborate with business teams to understand technical needs
• Translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions
• Contribute to technical problem-solving across development efforts
• Support projects in a fast-moving, agile environment
• Use AI tools to explore and improve solution approaches

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior-level experience in data engineering or software development
• Hands-on experience building ETL or data pipelines
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience working with Oracle databases
• Ability to write and support Oracle SQL queries
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to own work from start to finish

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator
• Background in oil and gas environments
• Exposure to AI tools or workflows
• Experience with C#, TypeScript, or React
• Full-stack or broad technical experience
