Position: Software Developer

Compensation: $75 – 80 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Software Developer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a technically curious developer who enjoys solving business problems and building practical solutions. You’ll join a team that is evolving toward smaller, agile groups and a more flexible, full-stack mindset, with the chance to contribute across development, data, and API-driven work. This role is open as the team continues to modernize and refine how they deliver solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Build and support API-focused application solutions.
• Develop data pipelines and application integrations.
• Work with internal business teams to define solutions.
• Transform and move data for front-end application use.
• Collaborate on technical designs and implementation details.
• Support end-to-end delivery of development projects.
• Write clean code aligned to business requirements.
• Contribute to a fast-moving, agile development environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior-level development experience.
• Strong background in API-focused development.
• Experience with SQL and database work.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering work from concept through completion.
• Technical alignment with development or data engineering roles.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Oracle experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools.
• Exposure to React or TypeScript.
• Background in full-stack development.
• Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, or SOAP APIs.
