Position: Business Analyst

Compensation: $45 – 53 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Analyst to join their team!

This is a fantastic contract opportunity to support a technical solutions team working on computational design systems. You’ll play a key role connecting business needs with technical delivery, helping keep projects moving, requirements clear, and stakeholders aligned.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Partner with business and technical teams to align project goals
• Gather, document, and refine user and technical requirements
• Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Prioritize backlog items based on dependencies and value
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including standups and retrospectives
• Track project status and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate testing, implementation, and training activities
• Support issue resolution with quick, practical problem-solving

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
• At least 4 years of technical business analysis experience
• Strong knowledge of agile development practices
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Project management experience
• Experience with Jira or Confluence
• Background in technical or computational systems
• Experience coordinating with external vendors
