Position: QA Engineer

Compensation: $45 – 54 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled QA Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on QA professional who enjoys improving software quality through smart testing, automation, and collaboration. You’ll be embedded with cross-functional Agile teams, helping deliver reliable software while reducing testing time through better automation and efficient test coverage.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Track defects with clear reproduction steps and resolution support
• Support user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
• Improve test environments for reliable execution
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive testing effort

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5 years of QA testing and/or development experience
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience with SQL
• API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer
• Exposure to New Relic or Dynatrace
• Familiarity with Jira, XRay, Azure DevOps, or Zephyr
• Knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG and ADA
• ISTQB or similar certification
