Position: Electrical Designer

Compensation: $ 40 – 46 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Designer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity to support a wide range of electrical design work on impactful projects while collaborating with engineers, designers, and project teams. You’ll contribute to everything from drawings and calculations to design revisions and quality reviews, helping keep projects moving forward from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
• Support site evaluations, calculations, and design documentation.
• Revise drawings and markups throughout active projects.
• Review design work for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Prepare conduit, grounding, wiring, and relay panel calculations.
• Coordinate with project teams on design questions and updates.
• Maintain organized project files, revisions, and drawing records.
• Assist with electrical plans for diverse project types.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in drafting technology or related field with seven years’ experience.
• Associate degree with eight years’ experience.
• High school diploma with nine years’ progressive detailing experience.
• Experience with electrical design and drafting work.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix or Albuquerque.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work permanently without sponsorship.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CAD background with GIS experience.
• Experience using both 2D and 3D design tools.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and design principles.
• Experience supporting multi-discipline project teams.
