Position: Electrical Detailer

Compensation: $ 25 – 28 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Tucson, AZ

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Detailer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity to contribute to a variety of engineering projects while supporting high-quality drawing production and project execution. The role offers hands-on involvement with CAD deliverables, coordination across teams, and the chance to help keep projects moving efficiently from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare non-routine electrical drawings with complex project details
• Develop deliverables from sketches, notes, and verbal guidance
• Support CAD drawing production and project execution
• Print, scan, and submit drawing packages
• Maintain strong CAD proficiency across current systems
• Use multiple software applications to complete project work
• Track scope, schedule, and budget priorities
• Communicate workload status with project teams and management
• Review work for quality and support QA/QC efforts
• Assist with mentoring and training team members

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in drafting technology or related field
• Two years of related experience
• Or associate’s degree with three years of experience
• Or high school diploma with four years of detailing experience
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel
• Ability to create both 2D and 3D engineering drawings
• Understanding of design concepts and calculations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience learning new design software quickly
• Familiarity with engineering discipline workflows
• Experience supporting multi-disciplinary project teams
• Exposure to client or company CAD standards
