Position: Application Developer

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Application Developer to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented developer who enjoys working with data-driven systems, improving legacy applications, and supporting mission-critical reporting processes. In this role, you’ll help maintain and enhance internal tools that keep essential operations running smoothly while also contributing to future modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain and improve data processing and reporting systems
• Develop and support stored procedures and automated tasks
• Analyze data and validate outputs for accuracy
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve application errors
• Create ad hoc reports using statistical data
• Gather requirements and translate needs into solutions
• Document processes, systems, and technical specifications
• Support legacy code upgrades and modernization efforts

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Three to five years of related development experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong SQL Server experience
• Experience developing and maintaining stored procedures
• Background in data analysis and data validation
• Experience creating automated tasks and reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, C#, SAS, and Visio

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with crop insurance systems
• Familiarity with Crop-Hail processing
• Exposure to Multiple Peril crop insurance
• Experience with database and system design tools
• Experience supporting legacy applications
