Position: New Product Development Project Manager

Compensation: $120,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled New Product Development Project Manager to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an engineering professional who has moved into project leadership and enjoys bringing new products from concept to launch. You’ll join a collaborative team supporting technical innovation across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing. This role offers the chance to step into a highly visible position with meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead new product development projects from concept through launch
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering and operations
• Facilitate design reviews, milestones, and gate meetings
• Track risks and develop mitigation plans
• Monitor progress and provide status updates to leadership
• Support testing, prototyping, validation, and launch activities
• Help resolve technical challenges using engineering knowledge

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of engineering design experience
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Experience leading technical or engineering projects
• New product development project experience
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams
• Experience guiding projects through concept, testing, manufacturing, and launch
• Strong communication and organization skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with embedded systems or firmware-driven products
• Background in hardware and software project coordination
• Experience in instrumentation or battery-powered devices
• PMP certification or equivalent training
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Microsoft Project experience
• Experience supporting product commercialization

• Initial onsite training will transition to a hybrid schedule
• The role is based near Hobby Airport
