Position: Sr. Data Platform Administrator

Compensation: $120,00 – $145,000

Location: Denver, Colorado

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr. Data Platform Administrator to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity to own the health of a modern hybrid data environment. In this role, you’ll be the go-to administrator supporting platform stability, performance, security, and access across on-prem and cloud data tools. If you enjoy hands-on operations work, solving complex issues, and building a reliable foundation for data engineering teams, this role offers a strong chance to make a visible difference.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Administer and maintain Denodo and SQL Server environments.
• Monitor platform health across development, QA, and production.
• Tune performance, caching, and resource settings.
• Manage Snowflake roles, users, and warehouse access.
• Support Databricks operations and cloud service stability.
• Oversee Airflow and dbt Cloud environment configurations.
• Troubleshoot pipeline, connectivity, and data access issues.
• Maintain deployment standards, guardrails, and documentation.
• Support change management, access reviews, and audit needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years in DataOps, DBA, or systems administration roles.
• Hands-on experience with Denodo administration and performance tuning.
• Strong Snowflake administration experience.
• Experience managing RBAC, user access, and warehouse usage.
• Working knowledge of Databricks platform administration.
• Experience supporting dbt Cloud, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools.
• Strong SQL and Git/DevOps collaboration skills.
• Comfort troubleshooting production issues end to end.
• Experience in a controlled environment with change management practices.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Fivetran integrations.
• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure basics.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, SSO, or MFA.
• Experience supporting audit requests.
• Background in hybrid on-prem and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Experience documenting platform procedures and diagrams.
