Position: NOC Engineer

Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled NOC Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity to step into a stable, growth-focused environment supporting a modern fiber and packet-optical network. In this role, you’ll help keep critical services running smoothly through monitoring, troubleshooting, provisioning, and clear communication during incidents and outages. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized under pressure, and making an impact on network reliability every day.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Monitor network events, alarms, and service performance
• Correlate incidents and manage trouble tickets
• Communicate outage updates to customers and internal teams
• Escalate issues with clear technical details and next steps
• Provision services on core and access network equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and MOPs
• Support engineering and technical teams as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled shift coverage

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Five or more years of network operations experience
• Experience with network monitoring and alarm correlation
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills
• Experience in a service-provider or telecom NOC environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Understanding of network security standards and best practices
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with packet-optical or FTTH networks
• Familiarity with Ciena, Calix, Adtran, Cisco, or Juniper
• Exposure to SolarWinds, LibreNMS, Zabbix, or Grafana
• Experience with ITSM or modern ticketing platforms
• Basic scripting or automation experience
• CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certification
• Experience creating detailed technical documentation
• Microsoft 365, Visio, or Project experience
