Position: Control Design Engineer
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Control Design Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning customer needs into practical electrical panel solutions. You’ll join a growing organization with a wide variety of projects across data centers, water treatment, and oil and gas. This role is open due to continued business growth, and it offers the chance to work closely with engineering, sales, procurement, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design electrical panel circuitry based on customer requirements
- Create 2D wiring schematics and bills of materials
- Support costing and manufacturing estimates for electrical panels
- Collaborate with sales on technical clarification and solution alignment
- Partner with procurement on component selection and support
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Support customer fact-finding and commissioning calls
- Travel occasionally to customer sites and other locations
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience designing electrical panels
- Ability to read and create wiring diagrams
- Understanding of electrical wiring and circuit logic
- Strong communication skills in a team environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with electric motor control circuits
- Knowledge of NEC code
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Electric technician degree and related experience
- BS in Engineering
- PLC programming experience
- Embedded systems programming experience
- UL508A, UL698A, or UL1203 knowledge
- VFD programming experience
- CAD wiring diagram expertise
- SolidWorks experience

- Open due to company growth and new headcount
- Projects span data centers, water utilities, power utilities, and oil and gas
- Less than 10 days of travel per year
- Based in a manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK
- Training will be provided on UL508A and UL1640 requirements
