Position: AP Clerk

Compensation: $20 – 22 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP Clerk to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys keeping invoices, payments, and records organized. In this contract-to-hire role, you’ll support a busy accounts payable function, helping keep vendor payments moving smoothly while building strong working relationships across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Receive, sort, label, and organize incoming invoices
• Enter non-PO invoices into Sage
• Verify invoice approvals and supporting receipts
• Reconcile freight, credit card, and vendor invoices
• Research invoice discrepancies and follow up for resolution
• Process payment items and maintain accurate records
• Support weekly check runs and filing in Docuware
• Handle vendor questions regarding invoice and payment status
• Assist with portal downloads and payment setups

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience supporting accounts payable or invoice processing
• Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably Sage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
• Comfort handling recurring payment and reconciliation tasks
• Reliability and consistency in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to review documentation and verify accuracy

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Docuware or similar document management tools
• Previous work with freight invoice reconciliation
• Knowledge of credit card reconciliation processes
• Experience managing portal-based invoice workflows
• Prior exposure to a high-volume AP environment
