Position: Payroll Specialist

Compensation: $20 – $22 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-focused payroll professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and keeping processes running smoothly. You’ll support a collaborative payroll team in a fully onsite environment, helping ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time for a high-volume operation. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule
• Review large data sets for errors and inconsistencies
• Communicate with HR teams to resolve payroll questions
• Use Excel daily for reporting and data analysis
• Apply formulas, VLOOKUPs, and PivotTables
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Track outstanding items and meet deadlines
• Provide strong service to internal teams
• Support additional payroll-related tasks as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Payroll processing experience required
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with formulas and VLOOKUPs
• Experience using PivotTables
• Comfort working with large datasets
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Highly organized and detail-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently in a quiet team setting
• Professional presentation and workplace demeanor

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with UKG payroll systems
• Experience with Vista payroll systems
• 10-key experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Accounting background
• Customer service experience
• Exposure to payroll discrepancy resolution
