Position: Transportation Coordinator

Compensation: $25 – 25 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join their team!

This is a great contract opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping operations moving, supporting customers, and coordinating across multiple internal teams. In this role, you’ll help manage day-to-day order activity, support communication workflows, and contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment where accuracy and responsiveness matter.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide primary phone support for customer service lines
• Sort and manage incoming emails across multiple mailboxes
• Process customer purchase orders and order updates
• Coordinate with internal teams on customer needs
• Support AP and AR tasks as needed
• Track customer inquiries and route issues appropriately
• Prepare daily and monthly reporting for the team
• Assist with pricing requests and minor service provider negotiations

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in business administration, logistics, or supply chain
• 0-1 years of logistics, shipping, freight, or transportation experience
• 0-1 years of customer service and order processing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional phone presence and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work onsite five days per week
• Availability for an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
• Comfort working in a fast-paced office environment

Other Information:

• Contract role with an estimated 90-day duration
• Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Some after-hours coverage may be needed during peak times
• Role supports customer service, coordination, and reporting activities
• Drug screening, background check, and E-Verify are required
• Education verification may be required for certain roles
