Position: Solutions Architect

Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Washington, District Of Columbia

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Solutions Architect to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced architecture professional to shape secure, scalable enterprise technology solutions. In this role, you’ll help design and guide complex IT and security initiatives, support major implementations, and serve as a trusted technical advisor across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design enterprise IT and security architectures.
• Develop scalable network, cloud, and infrastructure solutions.
• Lead systems integration and technical oversight efforts.
• Support implementation, migration, and deployment activities.
• Provide escalation support for complex technical issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Align solutions with cybersecurity and compliance standards.
• Review technical designs and engineering deliverables.
• Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and strategy sessions.
• Document standards, diagrams, and governance procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 8–15+ years in enterprise IT or solutions architecture.
• Strong expertise in networking and security.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Background in systems integration and APIs.
• Knowledge of virtualization and data center technologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and controls.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Genetec, LenelS2, Avigilon, or Milestone.
• Familiarity with SIEM and monitoring platforms.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting.
• Cloud-native or containerized environment experience.
• ITIL or enterprise governance framework knowledge.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, or TOGAF.
• AWS, Azure, or VMware architecture certifications.
