Position: Window Migration Technician

Compensation: $25 – $30 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Beaumont, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Window Migration Technician to join their team!

This is a fantastic short-term contract opportunity to support a high-priority Windows 11 migration project. You’ll be part of a team helping users stay productive during a major technology transition, with two openings available in Beaumont and two in Houston. If you enjoy hands-on IT support, working directly with end users, and following structured processes, this role offers a great chance to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Image and reimage laptops following step-by-step procedures
• Support end users during Windows 11 migration activities
• Provide friendly, professional customer support onsite
• Communicate clearly with users about device turnaround timing
• Assist with workstation preparation and setup tasks
• Follow established migration processes and instructions
• Work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed, step-by-step instructions
• Comfortable assisting users in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available onsite Monday through Friday
• Ability to work in either Beaumont or Houston
• Interest in hands-on IT support or device imaging

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Prior Windows migration or upgrade project experience
• IT support experience
• Degree in MIS or Computer Science
• Experience with laptop imaging or reimaging
