Position: GIS Analyst

Compensation: $ 30 – 36 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled GIS Analyst to join their team!

This is a fast-moving contract opportunity for a GIS professional who enjoys hands-on work with maps, databases, and spatial data. You’ll support an established team by keeping GIS records accurate, organized, and ready for day-to-day business needs. This role is ideal for someone who works independently, adapts quickly, and is comfortable stepping into a team with immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain and update GIS databases, maps, and related records
• Support ongoing GIS projects with accurate data management
• Use ArcPro, PowerTools, and Tableau in daily workflow
• Organize spatial data and keep documentation current
• Assist with general GIS tasks and project support as needed
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of professional GIS experience
• Hands-on experience with ArcPro
• Experience using PowerTools
• Experience with Tableau
• Background updating and maintaining databases
• Strong ability to manage maps and spatial data
• Self-sufficient and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting fast-paced contract projects
• Exposure to energy industry GIS work
• Ability to quickly adapt to existing processes

• Onsite schedule Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Work from home on Wednesday and Friday
• Contract length is open-ended
• One GIS team member will be intermittently out on medical leave
